I. Basic provisions

1. The controller of personal data pursuant to Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as: " GDPR ") is

3. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.

4. The controller has not appointed a data protection officer.

II. Processing of personal data

1. The administrator processes personal data that you have provided to him/her or personal data that the administrator has obtained based on the fulfillment of your order.

2. The administrator processes your identification and contact data and data necessary for the performance of the contract.

This is processing based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiating a contract or taking measures prior to concluding a contract at your request.

3. The administrator stores personal data

  • for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the administrator and to assert claims from these contractual relationships (for a period of 15 years from the termination of the contractual relationship).
  • for the period until consent to the processing of personal data for marketing purposes is revoked, for a maximum of 5 years if personal data is processed on the basis of consent.

4. After the expiry of the personal data retention period, the administrator will delete the personal data.

III. Newsletters (commercial communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and you have not prohibited us from doing so when making a purchase, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter.

This is permitted by the provisions of Section 7, Paragraph 3 of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, unless you have prohibited us from doing so during the purchase.

IV. Who will have access to the data?

Your data will remain with us. However, some companies or other people work for us and have access to your data because they help us run our e-shop. These are:

  • operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (the company Shoptet as, with its registered office at Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00, Prague 6, Company ID 289 35 675, the company is registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, Section B, File 25 395)
  • companies involved in the shipment of goods (Czech Post, PPL, DPD, Zásilkovna)
  • companies involved in the dispatch of payments (Shoptet Pay, Czech Post, PPL, DPD, Zásilkovna)

We process personal data only within the European Union.

V. Use of cookies

IV. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we are processing about you, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing, you can request a copy of the personal data being processed, to request that we erase your personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you believe that we are not handling your data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection , or to take your claims to court.

These terms and conditions are effective from 1 April 2024.
